In 2014, fascinated by religious rituals and mystical traditions, I used adhesive tape to create a mural on the banks of the sacred Ganges River in the city of Varanasi.

TAPE PROJECT
In 2013, during the process of developing a more personal body of work, I began experimenting with different materials and surfaces, offering a new perspective on adhesive tapes: duct tape, silvertape, washi tape, electrical tape, and others.
From this experimentation, Tape Project was born –a series of artworks in various sizes, detail-rich pieces, formed by precise x-acto blade cuts and a vibrant color palette.
With every piece of tape, elements such as graffiti and cordel, woodcut and street art, pop and traditional, digital and handmade overlap – all coming together in an original and dynamic form of art.
